Stable bar at the back, reflecting the pub’s past life as a coaching inn. Eight cask ales are always available. Choice of four real ciders sometimes including a perry, as well as Belgian bottled beers. Bar snacks include interesting range of pork pies. CAMRA branch Most Improved Pub 2012, Pub of the Year 2013, Pub of the Year 2019 and now our Overall Pub of the Year for 2023. |

13 Moira Street Telephone 01509 700171 Opening Times: 4-0 Wed-Fri; 2-9 Sat; 2-8 Sun A small, cosy and welcoming bar which opened in October 2018 in a former warehouse building, and art studio. Three to five real ales served direct from casks stillaged behind the counter. Constantly changing range. Two changing key keg brews are served now. The in-house Moonface microbrewery is visible in a room directly behind the bar. Pub of the year winner in 2020 and 2021. Also stocks an expanding range of bottled Belgian beers.
