Reopened in 2013 as a free house after an extensive refurbishment. Secluded patio and beer garden to rear. Regularly changing guest beers from local breweries such as Leatherbritches and Charnwood. Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby is also a regular. Bar snacks and tapas available until early evening. Live music Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Jim is proud of the quality of his beers and is well known far and wide for the superb pint of mild he sells. If we want to continue to enjoy it we should join in the campaign to keep these beers from disappearing.
