A small neat bar which opened in October 2018 in a former warehouse building.

3-5 real ales served direct from casks stillaged behind the counter. Constantly changing range. No keg beers.

The in-house microbrewery is visible in a room directly behind the bar, and started production late 2019.

During the lockdowns of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the pub has been closed, along with all of our other pubs, however beers have been available for take-away when allowed.

Currently (January 2021), pubs are not allowed to supply take-away beer, but Moonface brewery at the rear of the pub is doing take-away and has recently started a home delivery service to customers within 5/6 miles of the brewery.

Traditional three-room Castle Rock pub comprising a quiet, traditionally styled lounge, a contemporary styled dining room and a lively bar with a jukebox. A constantly changing range of up to seven guest beers always includes a mild. Real cider, perry, a wide range of continental bottled and draught beers and a good choice of malt whiskies and country wines are also available. Upstairs is the Hop Loft function room and first floor outside terrace.
