Reopened in 2013 as a free house after an extensive refurbishment. Secluded patio and beer garden to rear. Regularly changing guest beers from local breweries such as Leatherbritches and Charnwood. Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby is also a regular. Bar snacks and tapas available until early evening. Live music Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Most Improved Pub of 2013, Town Pub 2014 and now pub of the year 2016.
