3-5 real ales served direct from casks stillaged behind the counter. Constantly changing range. No keg beers.

The in-house microbrewery is visible in a room directly behind the bar, and started production late 2019.

The Anchor is situated in the centre of a small village within easy reach of Leicester and Nottingham via the A46. It is a popular venue for walkers who stop for a well-earned home-cooked lunch in front of the log fire. There is a menu to suit all tastes plus an extensive specials board. Outside is an elevated seating area to the front and a garden and large car park to the rear.
