Georgian building standing on the 19th-century route of the A6, with four rooms served from one bar. There is bench seating and original features including coal fires. Eight cask ales and real cider are available plus a good selection of malt whiskies. Food is served every lunchtime and weekday evenings. Outside is a large car park and
garden plus a petanque court and children’s play area. En-suite accommodation is also available.
