TEL: (01509) 214101

Probably an early 19th-century building, part of the original Thorpe Acre village, now surrounded by modern houses. The unusual look of the pub is due to a change in road layout which has resulted in the back of the pub adjoining the road. To the ‘front’ there are gardens and a children’s play area. The pub is split level with the bar and front entrance lower than the lounge, which is accessed via steps leading from the road. Live entertainment plays most weekends.
