Coronavirus Latest Pub News

On Monday 22nd February, Boris announced that Pubs would be allowed to open for table service in outdoor drinking areas from Monday 12th April. They would then be allowed to open for indoor table service from Monday 17th May.

    37 Days to Go

In the meantime, drinking at home is the only option:

In this latest lockdown, since the 6th January 2021, pubs have been prevented from selling take-away alcoholic drinks including Real Ale. There no evidence that selling take-away alcoholic drinks in sealed containers is in any way contributing to the pandemic, but our government acts in mysterious, and some would say vindictive, ways these days. After all, supermarkets and other outlets are still allowed to sell alcoholic drinks in sealed containers.

Some pubs are now delivering real ale to your door, and quite a few are selling take-away meals. Some have opened up their car parks for specialist markets.
